The job employment opportunities are phenomenal here from factory careers such as Blue Bunny, Kemps, Bo Deans Baking Co., Nor-Am Cold Storage to retail shops/stores/boutiques (too many to mention), to numerous fantastic schools (elementary to High School) and not to forget our ever expanding Floyd Valley Healthcare Hospital and clinics! We are home of the Plymouth County Fair, Ice Cream Days and the Fourth of July fireworks are also spectacular event to watch every year! Le Mars is expanding in housing as well and if you spend a day or two here, you will see why we love to call this place home!

My son and I enjoyed some father son time this weekend at Whispering Creek Golf Course located in the Morningside area of Sioux City, IA. It was the perfect start to the day that included 9 holes of golf in the AM and cheering on our Iowa Hawkeye football team in the afternoon. The history of the Plymouth County Courthouse is a spectacular building that was built of red sandstone in the year 1900 and is certainly something to admire! The Re/MAX team recently played in the annual Sioux City Musketeers golf outing. Two Rivers Golf Course was in great shape and pro Rod Slater has put in significant effort in upgrading amenities. The Muskies are celebrating their 50th anniversary during the 2021-2022 season. The group Coach Strand brought in a next level class this year, with a number of players destined for the NHL.
